26 June 2024

NRF demonstrated its commitment to environmental care through an initiative to donate over 70 kilograms of used plastic bottles to Phyathai Hospital x Wake Up Waste on World Environment Day, June 5, 2024. The aim of this donation is to create opportunities to recycle and transform plastic bottles into personal protective equipment (PPE) to support the work of medical personnel. Approximately 70 kilograms of plastic bottles can be transformed into 13 sets of PPE.

This activity aligns with NRF's sustainability strategy, which is committed to conducting business in a way that minimizes environmental impact and is consistent with SDG Goals 12: Responsible Consumption and Production, specifically the target to reduce the release of toxic chemicals and hazardous waste into the environment, and Goal 14: Life Below Water, specifically the target to prevent and reduce marine pollution, especially from land-based activities.

NRF believes that collaboration among all sectors will help create a truly sustainable and environmentally conscious society. NRF also has plans to continue environmental activities to raise awareness and encourage everyone to participate in sustainable efforts to reduce environmental impact.
